Condition Classification	Condition Description
99%	Brand new condition or new with original tag. Item hasn't been used (never worn).
95%	Good as new, barely worn with no flaws or signs of use. Item might have been used for several times.
90%	With minor or hardly noticeable signs of use.
85%	Signs of regular use with scratches or staining, ie: moderate and noticeable stains, snag, discolouration, slightly worn corners, tarnishing at hardware and creasing to leather.
80%	Signs of wear obvious from heavy use and damaged, ie: out of shape, leather pealing off, loose stitches, strong odor, tear in handles, lining or fabric.

 

We take note of provenance and ownership to make sure that all the items that we accept come with a clean bill of health. Signs of use will be fully disclosed in the product description and photos. 

As a re-seller of pre-owned luxury goods, we do not provide a "warranty" of the craftsmanship and workmanship of the brand. Do contact the boutique of the brand with regards to this matter.

Since all items are consignment pieces, once an item sells the consignor is paid resulting in all orders being final sale. Please keep this in mind when shopping with us. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email. 

 

All items are guaranteed authentic but if an item is found inauthentic or not as described, we will accept returns for special cases. If you receive an item that you do not believe is authentic or is not as described, please email us immediately at info@themodernist.com.my so we can properly assess and rectify the situation accordingly.
